Peter Akpanke Gifts Cash, Laptops, and Solar Lights to Students at College of Nursing Science Matriculation
The first matriculation ceremony of the College of Nursing Science, Obudu, was marked by joy and generosity as Hon. Peter Atianashi Akpanke, known as the Solid Rock of Obo, made significant contributions to both students and the college.
Fifteen top-performing students from Obo Constituency received cash awards of ₦100,000 each, divided among five students from each of the three local government areas in the constituency. In addition to this financial support, Hon. Akpanke pledged to provide 20 solar lights to illuminate the school premises and donated five laptops for the new ICT center.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Mrs. Linda Ayade, the wife of the immediate past governor of Cross River State, who attended as the Special Guest of Honour. Her participation added to the significance of the event, celebrating the achievements and future prospects of the matriculating students and the college community.
